Your broker refers you
Your mortgage broker or financial planner submits a referral to InsureHQ. You'll receive a short intake form — takes about 2 minutes to complete. If you have existing insurance documents, you can upload them and we'll read the details automatically.

We sign you a Financial Services Guide
Before we proceed, we send you our FSG to review and sign digitally. This explains exactly what InsureHQ does, how we're paid, and confirms this is a no-advice comparison service — not personal financial advice.

We run your quotes
Our adviser runs real-time quotes across Australia's leading life insurers — Clearview, MetLife, TAL, and Zurich — at your current sum insured and personal details. No guesswork, no indicative pricing.

Your quote sheet arrives
You receive a personalised comparison with three options side by side. You can select an option to proceed, book a call with us to discuss, or ask for a revised quote at a different amount. No pressure.

If you proceed — we handle the application
We send your online application form and arrange your teleunderwriting appointment with the insurer. From there, the insurer's team manages the underwriting process and contacts you directly if they need anything.
Your relationship stays with your broker

InsureHQ handles the insurance comparison only. Your mortgage, financial plan, and ongoing relationship remain entirely with the broker or planner who referred you. We don't cross-sell, we don't contact you beyond this process, and we don't share your details.

What clients ask us

Yes — completely free. InsureHQ is paid by commission from the insurer if you choose to proceed with a policy. There is no cost to you at any stage of the comparison process.
No obligation at all. The comparison is prepared so you can make an informed decision. You can review the options and decide not to proceed — that's completely fine.
This is an important question and depends on your circumstances. Generally, a new policy replaces your existing one, which means underwriting applies afresh. If you have existing conditions or loadings, we'll make sure you understand any implications before proceeding. We never recommend cancelling existing cover before a new policy is in force.
Personal advice considers your complete financial situation, goals and needs and makes a specific recommendation. InsureHQ provides general advice — we compare policies on a like-for-like basis at your requested sum insured and present options. You decide. Our Financial Services Guide explains this in full.
We currently compare Clearview, MetLife, TAL, and Zurich. These are among Australia's largest and most established life insurance providers. We use LifeRisk Online — a specialist comparison platform — to generate real quotes directly from each insurer's system.
From referral to quote sheet in your inbox is typically 24–48 hours. If you choose to proceed, the application and teleunderwriting appointment usually happen within a week. Underwriting timeframes vary by insurer and complexity — straightforward cases can be as quick as a few days, complex cases may take several weeks.
